A Lusaka man has become a latest among many victims of thieves breaking into parked motor vehicles when criminals driving a grey Toyota Hilux broke into his Ford Ranger at Woodlands Debonairs Outlet last night.

The distraught victim wrote…

“Friends careful with your laptops left in your vehicle, chaps broke into my vehicle last night at Debonairs Woodlands and went away with my laptop and all its contents.”

Despite increased CCTV around the city the crime seems uncontrollable as more victims recount horrific incidents of losing laptop bags, money and other valuables left inside motor vehicles parked in places many assume to be safe.

Some people have observed lately criminals use relatively expensive motor vehicles to commit the crimes with some bearing visible number plates. This is contained in a report published by Zambia today.
