Thieves have broken into Kasama Zambeef Macro store and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The burglars, who were armed with knives and iron bars, first beat up the lone security personnel on duty, Justine Bwalya, before disabling the surveillance system and breaking the safe.
Police have since instituted investigations into the alleged theft. This is contained in a report published by Diamond TV Zambia.
