Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu says plans are underway by Government to build 1,000 houses for police officers countrywide.
Mr Mwiimbu, who is Monze Central Member of Parliament (MP) (UPND), said Government is aware of the deplorable state of some police houses and is working at resolving the challenge. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily mail.
