Reports reaching us indicate that Copper Queens striker Norin Betani has died days after being hospitalized while with the national team in camp.
Norin who plays for Indeni Roses, was among the 30 players summoned for the Paris 2024 qualifier against Ghana but was diagnosed with severe Malaria which left her hospitalized at Chawama Level 1 hospital in Lusaka.
FAZ is yet to issue a statement on Norin’s hospitalisation and subsequent death.
The Copper Queens left for Ghana yesterday.
