Renowned international minister of the Gospel, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, has described Zambia as a blessed country anchored on peace and unity.

Speaking on arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Bishop Heward-Mills said good things lie ahead for the nation, noting that amid global instability, peace and faith in Jesus Christ remain of paramount importance.

His visit comes ahead of the Healing Jesus Campaign crusade scheduled to take place from April 21 to 24 at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka .

The crusade is a major national Christian gathering jointly organized by the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia and the Council of Churches in Zambia.

Meanwhile, Healing Jesus Campaign Executive Chairperson Bishop Joshua Banda said the crusade comes at a strategic time as the country approaches the August elections.

Bishop Banda was speaking in Lusaka when he received Bishop Heward-Mills early this morning.
