Jowetti Mwambazi is from Chipata’s Eastrise compound has developed a formula to produce fuel from plastic waste (plastics/bottles).
Chipata Mayor George Mwanza says 19-year-old Jowetti knows what he is doing and speaks with courage and conviction.
“So we have given him ka sumthing to patent his scientific idea with PACRA – in the containers is petrol and oil produced by Jowetti. His community has testified that his petrol was tried in 5 motorbikes and it works, no complaint recorded from motorbikers so far,” Mwanza stated on his Facebook page.
