A 15-year-old child bride has been rescued from marriage to a 43- year-old man after a mob attacked him for alleged theft.
The victim is believed to have been married off this year by her father, who later relocated to Chinsali with the rest of the family.
The ordeal of the girl came to light when she was found nursing the suspect in hospital and upon being interviewed, she revealed that she was his wife. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
