The lake level has steadily been decreasing, due to low inflow and reduced rainfall activity on and around the lake.
The period under review closed at 477.62m (14.72% usable storage) on 11th March 2024.
On the same date last year, the lake was at 477.85m full, representing 16.34% of usable storage meant for power generation. (Zambezi River Authority)
