Twenty-six (26) cases of cholera have been recorded in Lusaka, resulting in two fatalities.
Health Minister Sylvia Masebo has disclosed that the high-risk zones include Kanyama, Chawama, Meanwood Ndeke, Chipata and Bauleni Compounds.
She adds, authorities are investigating a boarding house in Chalala where an increase in diarrhoeal cases was noted among students.
Experts are also investigating contacts to a student from Evelyn Hone College who tested positive.
The Health Minister confirmed in a ministerial statement during Thursday’s Parliamentary session.
